Then few times same: Changing FTP on both devices (Edge 520/Fenix 5), then Sync.
Today i noticed new Beta Firmware again, so i update it, and done soft reset. I realized that strange FTP settings in activity files (204W), happened few days ago, and somehow in same time when i put Beta Firmware on my Fenix 5, and when i done factory reset after it.
Usually a reset to factory defaults is a surefire solution to oddities in a Garmin device. Not being able to change the FTP value sounds strange. I noticed it only after the next workout, which was some threshold interval work below my actual threshold. That has become much less common these days, but during the last Edge 1030 firmware update a couple of weeks ago, my FTP was reset to about 200W.
2-3 years ago it was typical for my Edge 1000 to lose either FTP/HR zone settings or data fields or both during a firmware update.
